Bug When Swiping from Right to Left Starting from Bezel

I play on an iPad Pro, I block with my left hand and swipe to dash forwards and backwards with my right hand.

If I'm already blocking, and my thumb starts on the bezel when I try to swipe back, to evade, the action doesn't register and my champ just stands there. This has messed up my gameplay so many times, I keep trying to remember to hold my right thumb further across the screen, but really this shouldn't be an issue.

I hope there's a way to rectify this issue.

Mate, I dont have that device, but surely the bezel is not part of the screen, so your thumb won't be picked up on it? That would explain it, but I could be wrong, as I usually am

I said starting from the bezel, and swiping into the screen.

To expand on this, after further testing, the problem only surfaces when holding block on the left-hand side of the screen and trying to swipe from the right to the left (I've updated the original post).
