Missing gifting points

in Bugs and Known Issues
I just gifted a alliance member a carbonadium mastery core and right after a gifting crystal. I immediately received the points for the crystal, but I am still missing points for the core. I closed and reopened game 3 times to see if they would magically appear. Can anyone explain?
