I will be telling you that youre in the Top reward arena because you are in a lower arena tier (you are new,
you will now go to a different tier (30-60Days) and then you can join the majority of the community after 60 days. Grind arena now for a faster progression!!! Good Luck!!
But I play less than a month, and my friends play longer than me, and they need to score less points than me to get the champion!
It goes by the date the account was created. If you created the account two months ago and only recently started playing it then you are still considered a veteran. If they created the account within the last 60 days then they would be intermediate or within the last 30 days then they would be beginner. Either way you need to contact in game support if you believe you are in the incorrect arena.
I created an account on December 9th. And with the support service I contacted they all deny!
My friends who play about 2 months, to open awards for the rank you need to score 15000 points! And for me, 30,000 points, but I play less than a month! It's unrealistic to win a champion when playing with top players in the arena!

These are 3 different arena brackets and are rewarded differently.
Keep into consideration that a lot of people got this game this month due to all the marketing (you have a lot more 1-30 day grinders this month vs any other months)

Because you think the world is against you my friend LOL!!! Keep your head up!! This was just a bad timing for you!! You will be moving to a higher arena bracket, keep grinding and this might be your turn to score less for top rewards for 30 days!!!!!
I can say from experience that the cutoff for the Basic 4* champ is higher than the cutoff for the 4* Featured champ when you hit the 30-60 day bracket. I would guess that the reason is that they expand the number of people who get the Featured from 50 to 200, but the Basic stays at 10%.
