Gifting event query

I recently changed my alliance and I'm unable to claim any milestones even though I didn't claim any in my previous ally. Kabam support sent a message that I'll be able to claim only after my new ally reached a milestone it hasn't attained yet. When a new milestone is reached, will I be able to claim only that particular milestone or everything previously included also? Would appreciate it if a mod comments on this.

I had the same issue, and after going back and forth with support for a couple days this is what I got. Hope this clears anything up for you. I was personally disappointed.
