Is there any logic and reason at all for the 1 hour timers for both AQ and AW? Please enlighten me.

Kabam's insistence on making the timers default is an hour is nothing but to show outright disdain and contempt for the player base. They can make it 30 minutes if they wanted to but I honestly just don't see the reason why it has to be an hour.

Every time the timer is set to 30 minutes it's easier to navigate through the day because nobody has to wait truckloads of hours before anyone can move, especially in cases where alliances are composed of members from around the world. During 30 minute timers I can go to bed by 10:00 PM completing all my assigned lanes in both AQ and AW.

But with 1 hour timers I have to stay up until 12 AM to hit all nodes that link (if at all), and wake up again around 2 or 3 AM to complete my lanes. There is something really problematic with that.

Even from a profitability stand point I don't see any reason why going to 30 minute timers will affect Kabam's bottom line. There are enough factors in this game that already makes it stressful and I understand that little can be done about them (e.g. RNG, T1 Alpha shortage, typical server outages, huge champ imbalance, fighting glitches because of poor programming, etc.) but this?

I know this isn't the first time this was brought up and some will probably say join an alliance on the same time zone. But case in point is that we can go through AQ and AW more easily with 30 minute timers than 1 hour timers.

What IS the reason why this company insists on making it an hour, except to make it more unnecessarily unreasonable and difficult as it already is?

To allow Players of all Time Zones and schedules the opportunity to participate, while allowing ample time to complete the Map, would be one reason.

I believe the game team has this backward way of thinking that if a player is online more then they will be more likely to spend.......the whole AQ was designed for one hour timers is frankly BS

I'll be honest with you bro, I'm not spending money when I'm half asleep. But will be more than willing to spend money wide awake. But I see your point. Kabam's logic will be beyond stupid at that point or just plain greed if that's the case.
