So much hate in this forum. I think your problem may be your device.
I used to be very bad when I was using an Android LG. Got better with a samsung note 5/8 and iPad mini.
But it's not like what the other guys are saying is not true either. Some champs do more damage than others. It is always recommended to practice on Realm of Legends, just practice, focus on beating winter soldier without dying. Learn how to use your champs properly too, sometimes we are sitting on hidden gems.
I do not do this quest unless I am bored as the amount of fragments is very insignificant. I do remember dying every now and then when it was 2 day long. Back then I only had one 5 star and 2 or 3 r4 4 stars. I will most likely not die anymore as I have plenty of r5 now to use. Maybe build up your teams and keep going against that winter soldier.
Anyone know how to erase your CoC account and start from scratch? I'm thinking that scrubbing everything and starting the game over might be the best choice.

@DaMunk and @DNA3000 are correct. If others are able to beat it using 3* versions of the champs you are using then it may be skill related or it may be mastery related. As a newer player no one expects you to have the best setup for masteries. Instead of starting over, I would look at masteries too. Also you need to look at joining an alliance to get t4 frags from completing alliance quests. That would help you grow because you could then refocus your quest energy to things like story quests and special event quests which yield more t4 frags than expert proving grounds.
That expert proving ground is **** until they added generic sig stones for 4*. But still **** looking at the rewards they give and the energy it consumes.
Recommended rating is worthless. You will want at least one champ that is about 1/3 of the rating alone tomdo the heavy lifting.
Looking at your roster, you might not be ready for it. Either prepare tomrevive or wait until you get a couple awakened 4/40s.
Skill will come later, with practice.. and a bigger roster with more useful champs. If the health of the hard path is so high you can't avoid sp3 try working with a power control champ. Longer fights, but youndictate the pace that way,

In that case it isn’t the team then.
