Ranking Champs

It is still too hard to rank champs. We are getting offered shards and crystals for 5* champs lately, there seem to be great emphasis on acquiring t2 alpha. However one issue remains unaddressed, that's the resources needed to rank champs.
We need a ton of t1 alpha to rank 5* champs, not to mention we need it also for ranking 4* champs. I suggest that the t1 alpha arena offer 5 alpha catalysts instead of 1 for both milestone and rank rewards. Also a daily t1 alpha quest that guarantees one t1 alpha catalyst for completion. While acquiring new champs is great it's pointless if we can't rank them.
I have lots of champs waiting to be ranked, and t1 alpha is the hardest catalyst to get right now.

I think the total opposite I have resources for 5 stars but have none that I like.

I think different players at different stages of the games and with slightly different luck are facing very different problems. While it is true that some folks may face the same as OP, others may have diff problems.

I noticed from my teammates (many veterans and active players), as well as from myself, at times, we suffered from at times (in the past, when still progressing) not getting enough T4b, later not getting enough T4cc, then not enough T1a, and then not getting enough gold to upgrade, then not getting enough T2a, and very often not having the right champs to upgrade (have to stock up the resources and keep waiting), and now some are facing not having enough T5b (hehe, now ppl are eager to start R5 their 5*)

All these problems are real, although from time to time, there are venues for us to get some resources to keep us going, although may not necessarily be enough.

I think fundamentally the "design" behind the catalyst usage is not balanced, unless Kabam over-haul the amount of catalyst needed, else we'll always suffer from shortage of one type while overflowing on another type. Sadly this change could be huge and I don't see Kabam going to change it any time. I personally support your idea of having extra venue to get more T1a, I will be happy to see it, even if I may not always have time to play for it. One extra venue to get more resources is always good for us players Cheers and happy 2018!
