Sunday Arena Proposal
Current Problem:
Given the current state of the game and where the the community is at, I think it’s time for an update to the current Sunday Crystal Cornucopia arenas. These arenas award no battle chips or gold in the milestones but rather award 2 star hero crystals and a small amount of premium hero shards. These rewards have minimal use to most newer players and are essentially useless to high level players besides helping us max out our 2 star heroes faster for the chance at an Immortal Iron Fist.
My Proposal:
Provide the community with a new rotating arena event for Sunday. My thought is that the rotating arenas would work similar to the 5 star shard arena that we had a little while ago (milestones only and limit them to certain champs).
The expectation would be that these arenas would run on a standard rotation or be randomly assigned on any given Sunday as that week’s Sunday arena. The goals of these arenas is to be modest in the expectations of rewards while still providing the players putting their time into grinding the arena with some rewards that are more beneficial than more 2 Star Champion Signature Ability Levels.

- 600k arena score – 150k gold
- 1M arena score – 250k gold

- 1M arena score – 150k gold
- 1.75M arena score – 300k gold
- 2.5M arena score – 450k gold

- 150k arena score – 5x 1300 basic ISO & 5x Tier 2 Class Catalyst shard crystals
- 300k arena score – 10x 1300 basic ISO & 7x Tier 2 Class Catalyst shard crystals
- 600k arena score – 5x 3000 basic ISO, 5x Tier 3 Class Catalyst shard crystals, & 1 fully formed Tier 3 Basic Catalyst

Of course these rewards may not meet the expectations of all, although I feel they are a significant improvement to what we are getting now. I wanted to start the discussion off since in the time I’ve been playing MCOC (about 1.5 years now) and I’ve never found content to become so quickly meaningless to me as the current Sunday arena has become. So…. Thoughts anyone?
