Is there any drop in 5* shards

Guys on the forum and YouTube there is a lot of discussion going on about drop on 5*shards so I want to ask is it true and how much is the possible drop

    Yeah there is a drop from last month. But last month was a special occasion. I opened like 12 5*s in December (Tho I did do LoL easy path and 100% Act 5) But still the special event quests and calendars gave out a LOT of extra 5* shards which aren't usually available.

    Now it's back to 2 crystals per month. Maybe 3 with uncollected EQ.
