Getting parried right after parrying

Sometimes I will parry-stun an opponent and then immediately attack them and get parry-stunned back. I have had this happen with multiple characters, not just special opponents that are stun immune or something. Like I just had this happen multiple times against Cyclops (New Xavier School). Is this normal? I understand limber reduces the stun duration but these opponents are recovering and parrying immediately.

What level is your parry, and do you have stupefy?

Last time, I used to have quite a low level of parry (1 or 2), and no stupefy. The parry timing is just too short against those with level 4 or 5 limber. By the time you parry and try to hit, they've already snapped out of it and immediately block, thus parrying you instead.

Its very important to max parry. It will also increase block prof while you parry.
