Kang and Thanos Team in the Arena

I don't know if its just me or a full community thing but quite frequently I see a Kangs Team and Thanos Team in the Arena sometimes for 3-4 fights in a row can somebody let me know what this is and if anybody rlse sees this

They are the teams you face leading up to infinite streak in arenas.

We all encounter them, and they are very annoying, because during the range where you can encounter them, the AI is cheesy and loves to pull All-or-Nothing behavior, and the teams are usually higher than yours (Unless you have a level capped champ for that arena, obviously).

Kang and Thanos teams are maxed out champs available in that arena but they do not have any masteries (parry, dexterity, willpower, etc.).

Those teams are triggered by the PI level of your team for fights 6-15 of arenas. The PI threshold starts higher at fight 6 and is gradually reduced so that you're almost guaranteed to see them by round 15. The only thing that prevents them from being triggered is if your team PI drops below the lower threshold in which case you'll face a "murder squad" of maxed champs with suicide masteries that are insanely difficult to beat.

To trigger a Thanos/Kang team on round 6, you need to bring 3x max level champs (i.e. 3x 5/50 4* champs in the 4* basic), but you will only need to bring 4/40 champs to trigger it at round 10.

I actually think they're easier fights than the non-Thanos teams, so I will run 3/30 champs for the first 6 rounds, 5/50 champs for fights 7-9, then drop to my 4/40's for fights 10-15.

Enjoy them, they are the easiest fights you will get after fight 5 regardless of what the rank/levels say
