Starlord SP3 problem

His Sp3 has one zwo and a gunshot
Two and gunshot do damage but not the first hit

All damage dealt by a Special 3 is actually calculated at once, and applied. This is why Special 3 attacks only count as 1 hit, even though the combo meter may increase more than that.

Miike, aren't ALL Sp3's calculated that way? That hits are sort of "flavor", but it's one source of damage calculated together? And not JUST Star-Lord, but all champions' Sp3s?

Is there a problem if the first hit doesn’t do enough damage to take off 1% from ws? The total calculation from the sp3 is correct so I don’t see the problem

Yep! This would not be Star Lord specific, and is not a bug.
