App Restarting on Apple Devices

I've spoke with some other players and it seems that currently when playing with an Apple device, switching to another app even for a moment causes the game to restart. This is frustrating for iPhone users who double tap the home button to answer a text (for example) and jump back into the game app 15 seconds later only to find you have to wait for the game to reload again from the beginning. Can you look into this please?

    Thanks for the info, I'll keep my fingers crossed that they fix it with the next iOS update but I won't hold my breath

    This problem is extremely annoying. I have found if you leave it on the end fight screen where you see your hits it won’t close if you leave it.
