why wasn't there an update (17.0) with sentry

hi there. casual player here. since i can remember, there has always been an update when you want introduce new content to the game, you added sentry along with the new monthly quest. i didnt need to update the game in the apple store.
there has to be a reason as to why you dont want to give an update, so you dont want to disclose the percentage/drop rate of feature crystals?

    All of the data for Sentry, Void and the Age of Sentry Event Quest was included in the 16.1 Update. For as long as the Contest has existed, we haven't put out an update in January, and package that information and data into the December update. This had nothing to do with the new Apple ToS.

    Since we've covered this topic in other threads before, we're gonna close this one down.
