uncollected void question or may be bug

Does uncollected void gain power while hitting when we block .
I was using magik 5* rank 4 and void was under 20% health and I was blocking while he was hitting magik. I noticed his power went from two bars to three and he gracefully performed his special 3 :-)

Yep - read the nodes and you'll find Kinetic Reactor - generates power when striking a blocking opponent.
