Why Does Auto-Evade Have The Power To Drop A Block Mid-Combo?

I cannot tell you how many times when using Black Widow or Ultron they auto-evade and my character loses controls and eats a combo. How is this even fair?
I'm blocking and instead of blocking the stupid auto-evade, that no one wants, activates forcing my block to drop. I'm not the only one, many ally mates have had this same problem.
