Drax l1 is broken

I have a r4 drax 5*, since the last update I've noticed several times now that when I pull his l1 it's basically an air punch, ive pulled the l1 as they start attacking me, it hits them and pushes them back but they are not registering any damage and they continue to combo me from where I pushed them back to, it's like they are unstoppable, happened against a cyclops in war, and today on 5.2 against falcon, also I cannot get to the forums from the app for some reason, never have been able to, I have to post through a link via my line app
