Rogue not working properly

Im questing in 5.2.2 and my rogues special 1 isnt replicating the opponents buffs. None of them. No armor. No regen. Nothing! Is this a bug?

    If Rogues health steal kills the opponent do you get that added on to your own?

    You don't recover the health steal if it kills the opponent

    That seems a bit silly. Why wouldn't you just get whatever health they had left?

    Guess the battle stops immediately after the ai is defeated ...

    (Can guess what other reasons though lol)
