Cant go any further

So I beat act IV and the first chapter in act V, and Im up to chapter IV on the road to labyrinth and I cant do anything else. My champs arent strong enough by far, without spending a ton of dough. Any advice?

    Just keep playing aq and aw until you ran get better champs from crystals and get reaurces to upgrade them from aq. Grind arena for units to push through the harder content
