Medusa recovery on heavy attacks

I was having a bit of practice against Medusa and I've noticed the fast recovery after the heavy which got me few times unprepared so I recorded it on a video. Do you think I was going too slowly after those heavies or it's the recovery time bug someone was pointing in a previous post?
