Howard the Duck evade in arena

Just fought a Howard the duck in arena with abomination. Howard did 3 green evades right before abomination kod him with thunderquack on. Read thru Howards info and saw no mention of evade. Only thing I can see is the bonus effect after a sp3 maybe. Idk.

    Yup that's his ability
    When he does sp3 he gains a buff based on class on opponent
    Against science he gets evade
    Against mutants he gets regen
    Against mystic he gains a chance to nullify and i think a power gain buff
    Forgotten the rest
