Play offline?

Is there any thoughts on making the game available to be played while offline? Obviously that would mean limited gameplay, but I think it would be very useful for those of us who play on tablets who only connect via wifi.
I think a good portion of the game could be done without being online:
Some things obviously would need to be disabled like:
Then, once you re-connect, your updated profile is uploaded and you download any changes. The timers continue to run and still get some game notifications whether you're online or not, so it's not too much of a stretch.

- Story quests
- Event quests (at least the "typical" ones on timers with known schedules and the major event quest)
- Opening crystals (especially the "typical" ones like Daily and Free)
- Ranking champs
- Store (in-game)
Some things obviously would need to be disabled like:
- Arenas (since opponents are generated from other players)
- Helps
- AQ and AW
- Chat
- Duels
- Unit store
