Suggestion - Using units to upgrade champion's star level

Hello fellow champions

I had this strange idea in my head where I think we should be able to use our units to upgrade a champion's star level the consequence for this could be that the rank of your character is reset

Do this sound like a weird idea?

It sounds like MFF. We don’t need noobs spending money on the game to get a 6* in their first month. I played MFF for a day and already had 2 god tier 6* maxed. As weird as kabam can be, they have their progression stuff pretty well rounded.
