My friend logged in for the first time in a month and received a free Ultimate Crystal. Is this normal or is this a special gift for coming back.

    You get free stuff. Sometimes it is a rank up object (I think only t4 basic). At other times it is a special crystal or units. But remember you are missing out on all the login calendar of stuff.
