War defense (boost and Synergy) impacting AI

Does Synergy impact War defenders AI at all?
Do boosts placed on defenders impact the AIs attack and health?
I have previously book marked several post in this forum that look to be deleted or moved. Lots of things have changed with War please clarify this.

From what I last saw -
Synergies should work, but they do not. Boosts would only have an effect if they were attacked during the duration of the boost. The PI boost is irrelevant since defender rating no longer awards points. It could help you get some MVP points though.

That is pretty much what I remember from the posts but I wanted to get a mod to acknowledge the current status of each if possible.
