A rather strange predicament

Hi folks. So, I seem to have found myself in a strange predicament. On Wednesday I entered my top 5 champions in the science event, which I played several times. However the final time I did not finish. Today I returned to the game to partake in an alliance war only to find that despite the event ending, my top 5 are still listed as being "in a quest". I have tried starting another quest with other champs but my top 5 are still locked out. Thank you in advance!
