Bad luck protection.

I am 0/17 featured. 110 FGMCs with no 5*. I am in a pretty up there active alliance. I do arenas every week to get 5* shards in both featured and basic arena. I have explored all content except LOL. I have 460k total rating and yet my account pales in comparison to many that are much lower than I. What is the only difference? Luck. I play every game by being patient and planning. I saved resources for the right champs. It got to a point that I couldn't complete act 5 or I risk expiring t2a. Finally I did get someone to r4(thank god). Something needs to be done for people with incredibly bad luck. I have done everything that I am supposed to do but literally cannot catch a break. If I had desires to push into an extremely competitive alliance I could not because I have not got lucky. When I contact support to express my concerns I get back a canned response suggesting that I join an alliance and do arenas(thanks) or even responses that make no sense. What am I supposed to do here? I have done everything I am supposed to do and I cannot get rewarded for it. For some reason it appears to me that you either have it or you don't. You get featureds or you don't. You get 5*s from fgmcs or you don't. The same people appear to get them over and over. Go take a look at reddit brag posts and you'll find an alarming number of them already have a god tier profile or a history of successes.
I know there will be people that say oh that is how rng works. But please try to put yourself in my shoes. Think about how you would feel. There has been one time the entire year of 2017 that mcoc did not disappoint me. The rest has been just a chore. Going through the motions with terribly slow progress being held back by bad luck. At this point I am convinced my account is broken or someone left the bad luck setting on my account in the on position.

But these games are created for our entertainment, when they start annoying you, emptying your wallet, and eating away your life's time, it's time to quit.
I see you've put a great deal of effort into your account, and it won't be easy to just leave.
It's a good thing you shared your misery with us, it takes the burden off your heart.
Besides sooner or later, all legends retire.
Peace.
I have got 1 so far and it was Mordo.. I tried for Iceman, Spark, Blade, Mephisto..
and yet still im trying to save for blade last time..
Even that and all of the FGM or 5 star opining my 5 star roaster is pretty bad..
I got only Magik (still undupe), Goblin and Mordo worth mention.
Even that all contest we have been throught and the awaken gem i got.. 3x 5 star awaken gem.
really hope someday Star Lord, Spark will join me...
I keep playing but will never spend any high amount cuz i know the odds are against me.. altho i still time to times try for 2-3 featured not more.
Its frustrating and well like @Cosmos_2002 wrote.. time to quit if its too much..
They absolutely refuse to comment on odds, percentages, etc, or any requests related to this even though it would make the game vastly more satisfying. Any loyal player who is diligent enough to save for 3-6 months just for 1 champ deserves an increased chance after countless failed pulls. Pretty much all the other major games that care about community satisfaction has already implemented this as well as releasing exact odds of pulls before soon being forced to by Apple. Kabam is essentially at the bottom of the barrel in terms of player support, as long as the money keeps rolling in they couldn't care less about novels worth of very sensible and fair requests that other companies have supported for years. They're more of being in the business of the gambling industry than gaming industry TBH is what it feels like to me. The house milks the players but they're not regulated as a gambling entity although they soon will be. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they changed the featured odds to increase hard defender pulls vs great attackers since the former makes them more money. They can do this with no recourse since as long as they delay coming to terms with Apple's requirements, they're not officially doing anything illegal since they never promised the odds are exactly XXX.
We're a tier 1 alliance with a LOT of pulls saved for Blade featured, over 100 pulls between the 30 members. A lot of us have been getting pretty tired of the shananigans and bugs so if it turns out to be a massive fail that seems manipulated, decent chance we may just disband or split up and merge again with so many dissatisfied members at the end of their roap who will likely retire after the last featured attempt (and fail).
Is your job hiring?
Nothing is likely for me. That's the point.
