How to Raise My Alliance

I recently joined an alliance that runs map 4 every 2 quests or so.
When I first joined the alliance we hit SA every week.
However, now people leave the alliance on a regular basis. I find it difficult to grind to help try to reach rewards when others don't participate in events.
I would start my own alliance however, the amount of managing that would be needed does not fit into my life. If anyone has any tips to raise my alliance that would be very appreciated.

    Encourage them, get to know them, and stab 'em in the heart when they least expect it( not literally). Just get serious with them. No good cop. No bad cop. Be the guy walking down the street.
