Solo and Alliance event notifications never go away

If you're on any screen that has the solo/alliance event button (the sheet of paper with the green checkmark), there's sometimes a red counter for notifications about new events or rewards that need to be collected. If you view the appropriate tab and see the new event or collect the reward, the notification should go away, but it basically never does, or it pops right back up if you click to a different tab.

    This has been happening since the civil war release. It is very annoying but it eventually refreshes. Except for war history, you have to actually go there to make it disappear.

    Yeah it's been happening at least since I started playing a year ago but it would be nice if they finally did something about it.

    Ben driving me crazy now for a while. All rewards have been claimed, and these are still persisting. I've had a notification about 2 "unclaimed" rewards since. 17.0 was released.

    If I toggle between ongoing and finished it clears the notification, but it comes right back once I return to the home screen

    @mostlyharmlessn yeah this is exactly what I'm talking about. The notifications will eventually go away, but they'll come back once something new triggers them, and then those won't go away.
