Stuck on Halls of Fortune Bug Cant get my heroes out

Hi, I've been playing since 2015. Solid gamer here. Now in the new event, I encountered a bug wherein i went to heroic mode on Halls of fortune. Then ran out of energy. 6 hours left before the event expired. Then After 8 hours I logged in again. Went to the event and the system said Event Expired. So fine with me. But when I played the refreshed Halls of fortune, my heroes on the day when it before wxpired are unusable. It says they are on a quest. But the quest expired. Can anybody help me?
