Late Alliance Wars

So i believe a few alliances have started wars late being 8-10 hours after alliance wars come back up and they were only able to push in 2 instead of 3 wars due to the increased waiting time to place and finding an alliance to face who started war late too.
What will happen to those alliances? Will they be crippled all season now?

    What will happen to them? They will wish they didn't wait 8-10 hours to start a war. That's what will happen to them.

    They have no control over when an Ally chooses to enter Matchmaking, and if they enter late, there's not much they can do about missed opportunity.
