Problems connecting with Galaxy S8 Plus

in Bugs and Known Issues
I have been having major connection problems for a 4 or 5 days now. Saying please check my connection. I have full bars on my wi fi. Signal is very strong. Happens 50 times a day. End up having to shut down and restart internet and phone. Never have these issues with my son's IPad. The iPad works amazing. Both are on same wi fi network. Please help.
