**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Parry on Heavy

This past war I used Hype to take on electro. I did a heavy on him, he resisted and PARRIED me.... how? Since when can heavies be parried?
Is that a risk I'm gonna take with hype in war now?

To ellaborate, the Stand Your Ground mastery (found in the bottom path of the main defense tree) gives you a 17-50% chance to resist a heavy attack. In other words, let you block a heavy. I have mine set at 5/5 for the full 50% chance because my dash-back/evade skills are at the mercy of the Kabam system and I end up blocking (or trying to block) a fair amount of heavy attacks.

When it's combined with the Parry mastery, it allows you a 17-50% chance to Parry a heavy attack if you time your block just right and the SYG chances allow it.

Because this is a mastery-based thing, you will only face this in places where you fight against player-based defenders (arenas & AW). Because you only see it in a limited number of places and the AI doesn't Parry very often, very few people ever see it.
