AW Defense Synergies aren't working at all with no resolution? Really??

I realize I am late to the party here, but this is a very Big Deal to me as a player. Many of my my rankup choices were focused around creating AW defense synergies and I recently learn it doesn't even work at all.

Last response I saw on the issue was "Looking into it" back in January. Now, its Mid February with nothing said about the subject at all.

So, what's the deal here? Why aren't AW Defense Synergies working?

    Kabam had confirmed it's a bug and confirmed it's being looked in to.
