Random buffs modok event going wrong

Not once , but 2 or 3 times I changed the buffs on the last boss let s say on expert mode , I died with last hero and when I revived I had the buffs from before. Can someone explain ? Why I would revive if it is going back to degeneration and stuff ? Especially when I used the cube already

You shouldn't revive.

I know what you mean, the active buffs are refreshing to the first one. I had the same situation and there's a post about it Under Investigation.
