Our alliance has been out ranked by by a million for the last 4 wars. How am I supposed to rally my team when we are faced against such insurmountable odds. I find it impossible to believe that the closest ranking alliance to ours of 650,000 is 1,975,600.

Ok, so a 1mil rating is not a big gap. How many people in your alliance vs how many in theirs? Let's say you're running a 2bg war because you've only got 20 people and they've got 27. That has to be taken into account because they have 7 more people feeding their team rating. And all the team rating is is a total of each member's individual base hero rating. All it means is they have more total champions than you and they've ranked and leveled more champs than you.

And that doesn't make a bit of difference in war because you're only competing against the 8 total champs they use for war. So alliance rating is largely irrelevant.

Now, if you're a team that doesn't have a lot of high ranking 4* champs and you're going up against a group with a bunch of r4 5*, then it sounds like a bad match. But in my experiences (2+ years) we've never been significantly out gunned in very many wars. We've lost to far better players/teams, but not too many truly unwinnable matchups.

So how do your war champs compare to the opponent's? My alliance (currently 7.8mil) has smoked some 12mil alliances and we've also been smoked by some 5mil groups. All part of the game man.
