Gladiator Hulk heal block vs King Groot

It seems obvious after you read the description of King Groot, but just a heads up that KG shrugs off Gladiator Hulk’s heal block and regens like it never happened. Made this mistake of not rolling again in Modok’s lab when KG had a 200% more regen buff. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes

    Did you place the healblock when KG had fury? Cause he shrugs off all debuffs at the expense of a fury

    Exactly. Yeah I realized what was happening mid fight. Problem is KG gains furies so much that he can shrug off the heal block so often that GH is not effective against him

    You need to put heal block while KG has no Fury and has regen. He wont be able to shrug that off. If you put it while he has fury, then he’ll shrug that off.

    Note: king groot (duped) follows a fury-regen cycle. That is, he will gain fury buffs for about 12 seconds that will allow him to hit very hard, shrug off debuffs, and enhance his SPs. After all of his furies are gone, he goes into a cooldown phase wherein he gets about 8 seconds of regen. While in that phase, he hits the weakest in MCOC, cant shrug off debuffs, and his SPs are weaker.

    Note2: KG can use up all his furies after 12 seconds, or by using them all up for shruging off debuffs, or by using his SPs. Thus, if you keep parry stunning him (for example) while on fury buff, then he’ll enter his regen phase faster and more often
