SpiderGwen bug against True Strike

While fighting the SpiderGwen on the global node in Uncollected 3.2, Interception, of X-Men: Savage Future with Karnak, she evaded once while Karnak had True Strike active and she had the evade token. The buffs on the node did not include a 20% increased ability trigger, which I have also seen can trigger an evade even when it should not be allowed.

Would like to know the answer to this as well as why Symb Spidey can do so as well

It has something to do with being an evade buff, instead of a passive evade

I believe true strike only works against passive evades like spiderman classic and NC.
But when someone has a evade buff sym spidey, Spidergwen and I believe NC after his sp1.
I'm not sure which spiderman miles Morales falls under

The True Strike that Karnak gains from his SP1 allows him to ignore passive Evade effects. The Evasion that Spider-Gwen gains from her SP1 is an active effect though, so Karnak can't ignore it. The same is true for Symbiote Spider-Man's Evasion. You can tell these are active effects because the Evasion icons for these abilities will have a white border around them.

On the other hand, Spider-Man (Miles Morales) has Spider-Sense charges that give him a passive chance to Evade incoming attacks. Since that Evasion chance is passive Karnak can ignore it while he has True Strike.

Hope that helps clear things up!
