I am close to quitting due to this problem. For over a week the game has been disconnecting me or crashing and then refusing to allow me to log back in. It just sits spinning at main title screen saying network connection problem and won't resolve until I delete the app and reinstall from scratch.
I am using an iPad 3 which I know isn't the most recent hardware but it's all I have and this problem is very recent and between updates so shouldn't have anything to do with intentional changes to the game that would discontinue support for my device.
This needs fixed as I know I'm not the only one affected by this.
