    Trucos hasn’t been wrong yet

Trucos steals information. The bottom line is with Kabam. There have been Champs that weren't released that Trucos put out there. For that matter, the finished product is not always the same. I don't pay attention to data mining. They can decide at any time what they do and don't want to put out.

Not sure why this was Flagged. Lol. Not that I care. That's not a call-out. Data mining is stealing. Fact.

How is data mining "stealing" when it's on your phone in the files, that you can access via a file explorer? Unless you're talking about the type of hacking that gets information from the servers, anything on your phone isn't stealing, it's "mining".

If you're using means that violate the TOS, it is stealing. Unless you're under the impression that because the App is stored on your phone, it becomes your property. In which case you probably won't understand how it's wrong. Let's not split hairs. It's stealing information that you do not have permission to have. It's stealing. Not to mention sharing it, which is a whole other aspect.

Ignoring your moral crusade for a moment (how’s that going?), who does it hurt?

You mean besides providing incomplete information, creating premature hype, building false trust, and violating the terms of service? The company. Could hurt the individuals responsible if they were as aggressive as I would be if it was my property.
In any event, this Thread is about LOL and Thanos so I'm going back to discussing that.

Call it whatever you want to call it, data mining happens in almost every worthwhile game. The reputable sources get their info directly from the game files and the leaks are for the most part quite accurate. I'm sure Kabam is well aware of this and has explored options to prevent content from getting prematurely leaked, but from my understanding this is something very hard to prevent. At this point Kabam probably just accepts that leaks via data mining will occur and their official statement is that they don't comment on leaks/rumors.

That doesn't mean people aren't allowed to discuss leaks/rumors here, as long as wild accusations and false claims don't gain too much traction and cause panic. I've seen many threads about leaks/rumors go unmoderated and some get closed because the thread was going off-fails/getting out of hand. So civilized discussion of potential leaks/rumors is fine to discuss. If you don't have anything other than "I don't believe anything until Kabam says so," then great state that and move on. People should be free to reference rumored champions without getting berated every time.

    - To OP: I have a feeling LOL 2.0 is well into development and that some super-modified version of the Collector will be the final boss. There will be a rare 6* champion reward as well similar to Rol and Lol. As for Inifity War Thanos - I think he'll be a playable champ like any other new character but who knows what Kabam has planned for that event I'm hoping it will extend far past just another heroic-master-uncollected event quest.

I'm 100% sure that LOL 2 is coming...however, I don't think it's going to be Thanos that's the reward (Maybe final boss). Honestly, I'm hoping that the first run-through gives 5* Wolverine, SW, OG Thor, and Black Bolt just for the fun of it, and like LOL, chests will contain dupes and sig levels.

One can hope. Lol. I can't see them adding those Champs, but anything can happen I suppose. 6* OG Ultron perhaps.

I commented on the topic. I even specified that it was a separate subject. No one is berating anyone. He's not released yet. There's no Official Announcement. As per usual, people are taking one comment I made and creating a separate discussion, then claiming I'm the one bringing it off-topic. Which is why I'm no longer discussing anything but the topic.
I swear it's like you people take shifts. We're moving on. At least I am anyway.

Yup no one is released yet, there’s no announcement, the OP is speculating if a new Thanos could be apart of LOL 2.0. Then someone posted a screenshot from Trucos’s upcoming 2018 champs of a Thanos (where the berating began). Anyway time to move on.

Personally I can’t wait to see LOL 2.0 and hope it’s going to take to be the next huge announcement released. Current LOL was fun but it’s been solved for awhile now. It’s still a big achievement to 100% explore, but the difficulty is quickly dwindling down with introduction of 5/65 champs and soon r2+ 6*. I hope LOL 2.0 scares the **** out of everyone the same way LOL 1.0 did when it was released.

The funny thing is your actually commenting on a thread about LOL 2.0 which is in itself a rumour an building hype.

It wasn't directed at the OP or the person posting the pic. I have little tolerance for shady things like that. I'm sure the Players are happy to have the information early, but the means it's collected and the way it's exploited is not cool in my books. People actually consider it iron clad, and it's not official. Just someone who thinks its right to fish for things not intended to be released yet. I wasn't really judging people for looking into the information. Naturally people are going to want to know.
I agree with you. I think it's only natural that the next LOL will come, and it will probably be hell. Lol. I'm not sure if the next big announcement will be that. Could be. I'm leaning towards the new Season of AQ. As for Thanos, I don't believe he will be a prize for LOL 2.0.

I know it’s gone way off the rails, but no point arguing with @GroundedWisdom about the data mining because he is right.

It also sort of spoils it too, instead of sh!t being spread about numerous chats and forums, it would be cool to update or go into game one day and see the brand new info there.

But anyhow, data mining is stealing info prematurely, just a shame that Kabam can’t hide it better or code it differently to not give it away.
  • DarkestDestroyerDarkestDestroyer Member Posts: 2,887 ★★★★★
Datamine is not against the ToS. Spread rumors is.

    Who’s spreading a rumour though?
  • GroundedWisdomGroundedWisdom Member Posts: 36,581 ★★★★★
I am curious to see how he turns out though. I try not to have any expectations so I can look at Champs objectively when they come out. It can go any direction. Sometimes Champs that would be logical game changers end up being more intricate than overtly OP. I have my favorites but I don't expect the game to highlight those based on my own preference. Lol. It's funny. I do things backwards. I get to know the Champ, then I watch the movie afterwards and it makes sense why they designed them in certain ways. Thor Rags for example.
  • GroundedWisdomGroundedWisdom Member Posts: 36,581 ★★★★★
Rags discovers his full potential at the end of the movie (spoiler lol), and in the game, his Damage is strongest with his L3 Awakened. It's the little nuances I notice.
