Kabam account not synching with current account status

in Bugs and Known Issues
When i started playing marvel COC i didn't setup my kabam account and all this time my game progress has been saved to game center since im using ios. When i finally decided to create a kabam account and log in, it starts from scratch though it prompts to link the current yet it does not. Any suggestions?

    Have you make a Kabam account before

    If you have it won't connect to your account as you already have an account.

    I can't remember having one before. If there was, how can i recover that account?

    In the game on the home screen, please tap the grey gear icon in the top left corner. From there, tap on the button that says “Support”. Seek your question, if you’re not able to find the answer and have more questions, tap the button that states, “Need more help? Contact us” to submit a support ticket.
