Time outs in AW

Recently had a disagreement between two members and I couldn't find an answer as I don't time out in fights to notice.

In AW if you time out during a fight does it count as a defender kill/losing an attack bonus?

    Yes it does. It counts as a defender kill/ you losing on attack bonus points.

    After the time out, look at the defenders info/node info. You will see how many attack bonuses are left for the defender. You def lose an attack bonus from a time out.
