I’ve always felt the game can turn the dials some to adjust outcomes of war or really whatever it wants... so the question that I have is, what exactly is the chance for BB to gain a fury or cruelty? Could be 90% or it could 1%. Why are some abilities so vaguely written?

    I've wondered this as well...also his buffs are so weak, they should permanently stack without the medusa synergy.

    I agree though - there's a ton of missing transparency but I've come to ignore it, hit hard, and hope for the best.

    Honestly I confest, I always thought his name is simply Black Bolt and nothing more, didn't realize until I read this post and learn to know his name is Blackagagagararara Boltagoooonononono

    Personally I never come across any reddit or Mcoc related posts with folks doing some experiments to statistically show that based on small samples size, how many % are those chances mentioned. I would be interested to know too, if the chances are close to >70%, I think he still deserves some places in my line up, if <20% he will continue to stay as part of arena roster

    p/s: Don't get me wrong, I like this stun, and I like this SP2 damage, but he is lacking various utilities & controls, and there are better champs for stun chaining & for better damage

    Exactly, that's why I have to give priority to Hyperion, Angela, Medusa, Drax, Thor and even Cap Marvel (ignore SP2 bug), Ms Marvel (ignore SP2 bug), Ronan .... at times I even like Venom and Venompool better. But I don't hate Blackakakakaka Boltonononon, bcos I know he is certainly better than Carnage for the moment, until Carnage got his buff in the future, lol. :D

    And in raw damage Hela and Angela outclass him without relying on pure vagueness.

    Hela is easily able to get 2 maybe 3 fury for 150% attack roughly

    Meanwhile Angela’s 2 main methods include:
    •Triple Threat: Angela doing all she can to keep 3 Fury at all times for a whopping 216% Attack increase

    •2 Pairs: Trying to juggle L2 and L1 doing your best to slam double Fury and Precision with 144% attack boost plus 173.99% Critical Rate (I did the math)

    Meanwhile the walking Nerf dart unfit to even be called “BB” has about 16.66...% Attack per fury and that’s IF he gets it instead of the consolation Cruelty… he needs 3 to match 1 if Hela and 4 to match one of Angela’s. Hela can even Armor Break and Angela also has the absurd armor levels too plus mini regens. Black Bolt only ever really had Leadership going for him

    Remember that black bolt is also a super old champion in the game so it makes sense that his things are so tonned down. Maybe they will revamp him soon like the LC and Rulk updates

    Awesome, looking forward to it, I wish he gets more love. I know he has alot of love from his wife, but he needs more love from Kabam :D .... hopefully he gets his turn soon as he maybe facing plenty of other contenders like Carnage, Sentry, Colossus, Spider-Gwen, Falcon, Iron Patriot, War Machine, Deadpool X-force, both Cyclops, etc .... :D

    @Patchie93 the thing is they already kind of "buffed" him a while back by giving him armor break...so i think now he's too weak to be useful but too decent to warrant a buff :( im salty cuz hes my first 6*

    The synergy he has with the royal family is great but yea I completely agree he needs some major love to be competitive

    I have a 5* R4 Medusa and R3 Karnak... I occasionally throw in my 4* BB to throw a boost for fun on some dailies but anything other than that he stays on the shelf

    I'd say the chance is fairly low. Brian Grant did a video of him with that synergy for permanent and unlimited buffs and it took quite a while to build them up. It was against WS so it was a fairly long fight but by the end he was doing some pretty solid damage. Who wants to fight for 4 minutes to build them up though. He might be handy against the new Sentinels in the upcoming AQ but definitely better options.
