Yay matchmaking

In a 11 mil and we are facing 18 mil ally w/ Legends. 80% of our wars we’ve faced alliances 4 mil on average higher than us. You expect us to get excited for seasons, promote the rewards but seeing us out matched most of the time is a huge hit to the moral. Also, I’m sure other alliances have been dealing w/ inner struggles w/ lesser skilled members, item use to get a win or defender rankups.

Yeah it feels like they're getting more extreme. We've had some that were doable, but our current War is too far off. It is what it is I guess. I wish there was another factor that helped regulate it. When you get Allies going up against others 2.5-3 times their size and strength, it's pretty frustrating. Now, size isn't always an indicator that you will lose. You can win against stronger Allies. Up to a point. The gap feels like it's getting larger.

That alliance could be very unskilled. Rating isn’t the best indication for aw performance

It's not insignificant either, especially when you're Matched to such extremes. It's just larger Allies pecking off weaker ones.

Not much more enjoyable to watch players with legends titles drop like flies in AW. Keep offering you services on eBay Legend Mercs, the popcorn is flowing.

What you end up with are the spenders and the non spenders. Since the beginning of war seasons item use has gone way up for some people. The really need to put defender kills back in and keep the attack bonus. War hasn't been fun since the changed several months ago. By design they've incentivized item use and reduced the impact of skill.

Wouldnt worry about it. My alliance is 12m and we beat a 17m alliance recently, then when we matched 2 wars again later.

Just do your best, fight and keep developing that data. Hopefully Kabam makes some tweaks in the next season.

One simple solution would be to add Brackets.

Never said I thought we would rank #1 just trying to get Gold 1. We will use items if it’s close and are trying to focus more on AW but end up asking long time members to leave if they aren’t on board. Just a **** situation making hard calls like that as a officer telling decent members if they aren’t on board to go.

You should know kabam don’t care about your matchmaking problems unless you’re in top 3 spending ally.
