Crashing After Finishing Event

I recently updated to the latest version on the game on my iPhone 6 and I have notice it crashes a lot, however it usually recovers my last status but today I finished a skilled event that ends today and just before I got my rewards it crashed. I was expecting it would just recover my last state but upon restart, it did not and all my energy was not restored, my rewards lost and with my energy gone I can't even restart the event.
