Will there be a break in Alliance war after Season Ends?

Needing to get a few more paths done in LOL and was wondering if there would be a break in AW after the season ends so I could do it without interfering with my wars

Seems to recall there would be regular wars like normal, just not an actual Season.

But I could be misremembering.
