Parry damage on WW2 Cap

So...does Parry have to be 3/3 for WW2 Captain America to take 0 damage on a parry, or am I missing something? I parried a 5* Stark Spider-Man and noticed my character took damage for some reason. I thought the Captains had the luxury of having high enough block proficiency to parry at 0, right? Did block proficiency get nerfed behind my back or did something else happen?

If the challenger rating difference is high enough, then they don’t get 0 damage parries.
