Bug found while upgrading 3-star Karnak

Do you mean the catalysts? If so then it is not a bug he requires both.

Karnak is a skill champ, right ??!! So why does he require a Cosmic Catalyst ??!!

I do know that he is an Inhuman. But as the game goes, you use the Catalysts of the Class the Champ belongs to.

I have already upgraded my 4-star Karnak to Rank 3. I never faced such a weird upgrading situation. That's why I brought this up.

You must have just not noticed when ranking your 4*. He takes skill and cosmic cats.

You are logically correct. But that's not according to the game rules right ??!! In that case, even Loki should have the same upgrade option. He is part Cosmic as well.
