I believe this could be a very exciting solution to the worsening problem of getting the wrong T4CC catalysts most of the time than not, and this solution can be used for other similar problems in the future but one step at a time. Like for the awakening gems can also be very helpful.
I propose introducing another store in the arena called "Alchemy" Or "Transmutation" and a new currency called "Transmutation Stones or just T-Stones."
The ratio for trade will be 3 of your existing T4CCs + 1 T-Stone to get 1 Mystic T4CC.
So let's see how this works:
1. I have 12 cosmic catalysts but have no "worthy" cosmic champs to rank up but need Mystic catalysts.
2. I go to the Alchemy store and choose (the limited supply) T4 mystic catalyst that I need.
3. I click on the box that will show my current T4CCs, choose three of them, and add one T-Stone to the selector.
4. Then choose GET NOW to purchase the "transmuted" item.
This proposal achieves these possible outcomes:
1. It alleviates the need to ever have to open a player to player trade option that is subject to cheating, hacking, boting, etc.
2. Kabam has full control which items can be available for transmutation
3. This can be an opportunity to include T-Stones in quests and other activities as rewards for accomplishing certain tasks
4. T-stones can be additional revenue for Kabam by making them available for $$$ purchase in the unit store.
There will be a limited supply of course, of things that can be transmuted to avoid abuse and premature progress. The limit of T4CC that can be transmuted can be 2 per week so in the grand scheme of things it can still augment gradual progression. So you can basically rank up that 5* to R3, R4 and R5 without waiting for months to be lucky in getting the right T4CC for your champ.
In future iterations of this Alchemy or Transmutation Store Kabam can throw in 4* or 5* class awakening gems. 2 current gems + 2 T-Stones = 1 awakening gem of the class you need.
This will increase profit and make lots of players happy.
