Chaos rift crystal shards

Hi summoners,
Just a question, last time we had option to spin the crystals off once we collected 10 k shards for rifts quest during dr strange event...
Will we have the option for infinity chaos event as well?
I'm asking this question as I do know people like me who won't be able to get through master mode.. n if I end up getting 10k master mode crystal shards.. does that render to be useless?
